Whole Mamas

A mother's return to Wholeness.

https://www.wholemamas.com/

Whole mamas is an opportunity to create solid friendships and social support networks along your motherhood path.  This group brings together the wisdom of Yoga, Ayurveda, Psychology, Healing Arts, Ceremony, Nutrition, and Holistic Health to demystify your transition from maiden to mother.  Through in-person gatherings and online support, you will receive education, guidance, community, connection, healing, and a WHOLE lot of love from two seasoned mamas and healers.  Finding your tribe while healing your childhood wounds to become the mother you always dreamed of being is possible as a whole mama.

This group is geared toward mothers in their last trimester of pregnancy through 3 months postpartum.

http://www.yogayoga.com/calendar/details?event_id=29764490

We are pleased to offer a weekend women’s retreat dedicated to your relaxation, nourishment, and renewal. You contribute so much to your family, jobs and communities. It is so important to step away from time to time and recharge. As women, we often make sure that others’ needs are met before our own. A routine practice of self-care will leave us the energy needed to care for ourselves and those we love. Join us for a weekend of fun and restful yoga practices in a supportive community of women. Can you imagine three days of having meals prepared for you? Nutritious vegetarian food will be catered all weekend by The Natural Epicurean. Return to your life rested, rejuvenated, and revitalized.

This retreat is appropriate for all women with or without yoga experience. We will be teaching a mix of Hatha, Hatha Flow, Yin yoga, Restorative Yoga & Meditation.

Cost includes lodging and meals. We will provide delicious, simple vegetarian meals and are sensitive to those who are gluten and dairy intolerant.

During the series, we will explore visualizations, meditation, yoga practice, and postpartum topics such as navigating the many feelings of motherhood, self care strategies, how to reframe our thoughts, breastfeeding, babywearing, and baby massage.

Mamas will learn coping skills to navigate the monumental shift into motherhood, connect with other mothers and embrace motherhood with time for self reflection, tuning in to their intuition, and bonding with their babies. Babies in their first year of life are welcome.

Each week, we will practice yoga poses and meditations that reflect these themes:

Week 1 - Navigating the many feelings of motherhood

Week 2 - Explore invaluable self care strategies - Baby Wearing Techniques

Week 3 - Mama guilt: How our thoughts lift us up or bring us down

This retreat is appropriate for women in all phases of life.

In this mini day retreat, we will gather together in community to discuss the life changing, transformative, incredibly empowering rite of passage we call motherhood. This circle will be a safe space for sharing your hopes and fears around birth and motherhood. Our workshop is for you whether you want to become pregnant, are pregnant, or have already welcomed your child. You will have opportunities to share and heal from your own birth, your children’s birth, or even your cultural perception of birth.

We will use many tools to access your creative power such as Yoga, Movement, Meditation, Breath work, Writing activities and Art. Connect more with your inner spirit to find what you truly need to fill yourself up with the vital energy that all women desire. Give yourself this time for a fun, reflective day of self-care, community, and good food (that YOU don’t have to make)! You will come out of this experience feeling empowered and refreshed to take the next step in your life. Join us for a day of self discovery, affirmation and community that will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to return to your life with all its twist and turns.
